These are the reports about the trialling of the draft science outcomes by some of the schools in Moray. They are presented alphabetically, grouped according to sector. The extent of the trialling experience varies significantly as does the size of school.
Pre-school providers
Four partner nurseries trialled a range of draft outcomes, SCN 001A, SCN 002B, SCN 005H, SCN006J & SCN009M.
Applegrove Primary School
This large Primary reviewed their ES planning as a means of enabling staff to gain familiarisation with, and to plan learning for, the draft outcomes.
Dallas Primary School
Dallas is a two teacher school. Their cross-cutting theme included Social Studies, Language and Numeracy outcomes in addition to SCN 001A, 104D, 113S, 229S and 232X. It was visited and praised by LTScotland.

Findochty Primary School
Reciprocal teaching was the focus for this small coastal school. P6/7 pupils organised and taught science activties to P1-3 children and P4/5 children at separate afterschool science clubs which saw almost all children volunteering to stay on at school and learn science. The P6/7 children in turn learnt about The Body from S6 students from the local High School.
